
ROOSEVELT'S FUNERAL:
One may argue about Roosevelt's greatness as a political leader,but he was mourned by a large section of the american public when he died in 1945. This very famous photo taken by ed clark captures a black man standing near,as the funeral passes by.it goes beyond the event at hand,and is an image of the most profound grief with the greatest self-control,as the man fights back his tears and keeps playing his accordion. This photo ran full page on LIFE,april 17,1945. It remains as one of the icons of photojournalism
